REVIEW :I have not a bought a porshe car but one of my not so close friend bought a porshe car for about 65 lacs on road. Along with the car you will also be on road if u buy this car. Power is excellent but the torque is very poor. No of Seats are specified as 5 but only 4 can sit comfartably. They dont give a stepny tyre. Looks are horrible there is no roof. Headlights are quite good. U can see the light even from 2 km distance. It consumes so much battery that u will need to replace battery everyday. So better to buy a battery shop along with this car. It comes with a MP3 player byt can play only wmv files what bullshit. Petrol consumption is tooo good. It keeps on consuming petrol. My friend fitted a LPG kit to the porshe,he also paid to build a roof , on top of the roof there is a LPG cylinder. Now the mileage is quite improved. Boot space is so good that u can only keep a pair of boots.

REVIEW : The Porsche Cayenne’s are the ultimate series of luxury S.U.V.’s. The Porsche Cayenne is a five-seat mid-size sport utility vehicle produced by the German automaker Porsche since 2002, with North American sales beginning in 2003. It is the first V8 engined vehicle built by Porsche since 1995, when the Porsche 928 was discontinued.

Worldwide sales of the Cayenne are running at nearly double the rate of 20,000 units per year that was originally forecast. 67 percent more Porsches were sold in fiscal year 2006/2007 than were sold in 2002/2003 thanks to the Cayenne model[1]. Though Porsche markets the 2008 model the ’second generation’, the car is largely unchanged — with the addition of new technological features. All 2008 engines feature direct injection. The charge-cooling effect of direct fuel injection permits a higher compression ratio without the risk of detonation, improving horsepower and torque. Fuel consumption has been reduced approximately 0.4 to 0.8 km/L across the range, even though the official window stickers say otherwise - the EPA changed its testing methodology in 2008. Fuel consumption is 6 Km/L city, 8.5 Km/L Motorway for the base model. The drag coefficient is 0.35 Cd and all models get a power lift gate and a tire pressure monitoring system. Porsche is always believing in luxury, and not concentrating on size, so this S.U.V. looks puny compared to a land rover or a hummer, but, what can you say? It was a good first attempt for a big porsche.

REVIEW : I test drove a Cayenne-S Titanium Edition when I took my Boxster in for service. This SUV is UGLY. It is the ugliest SUV on the planet. Actually, it is so ugly, that you start thinking it is pretty after you look at the sticker..... The Cayenne S is the "middle" of the road model - with a 4.5 liter V8 that generates 340HP. The seats are firm, the steering is stiff, you have the "thumb-shifters" that Porsche has with all of its tiptronic [automatic slushbox] cars..... this thing is bloody fast. If you HATE SUV’s like I do, this is the one that will change your mind. But it is not cheap - $70K to start with and 15mpg with premium gas..... Bottom-line: A SUV - it isn’t - a sportscar - it isn’t either. So, who is gonna buy this SUV - it is [in my books] a chick car !! It is for women who want to feel like they are driving a sports-car, yet carry 5 people and some "stuff" when they need to - in a P-car......
